The DAV Public School, Unit VIII has been instrumental in cultivating character and competence in conscientious individuals since 1971. With a humble beginning, it has progressed in leaps and bounds to an inspirational temple of learning, not only for other DAV schools of the state, but also dazzled the nation with its sheen of remarkable achievements both at the national and international level year after year.

The school, for the past 53 years has continued to foster the enriched educational life for nearly 4000 students under the dedicated supervision of more than 150 teachers from Nursery to Senior Secondary level. It is being managed by the School Managing Committee under the aegis of the DAV College Trust and Management Society, New Delhi.  The school takes pride in its high standards of excellence, commitment and ethics among all the stakeholders, because of which, it has been able to tap its scholar’s talent, and churn out stable and optimistic personalities.

With a sprawling campus of about 4.57 acres, the school infrastructure houses AV equipped classrooms, activity hall, music, dance, yoga and art room, meticulously maintained playfields and verdant gardens, an ergonomically designed and well-stocked library, hi-tech laboratories and a state-of-the-art Atal Tinkering Laboratory which is designed particularly to cultivate the spirit of curiosity and innovation among learners with a scientific bent of mind. DAV Unit VIII offers a nurturing environment for young and vibrant minds to aspire beyond the ordinary and fulfill their ambitious quests in the fields of their choice.
